Trump Trolls ‘No Kings’ Protesters With AI Videos of Himself Wearing a Crown

President Donald Trump fired back at the millions who flooded streets nationwide for the “No Kings” protests this weekend — posting a series of bizarre, seemingly AI-generated videos showing

himself as a literal king.

One clip shared on Trump’s social media shows him flying a fighter jet labeled “King Trump,” dropping what looks like excrement on crowds of protesters below. In another, Trump appears in royal robes and a golden crown, swinging a sword while a song blares “Hail to the King.” The video features former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other political rivals bowing before him.

The White House joined in, posting an image of Trump and Vice President JD Vance both wearing crowns — next to a photo of Democratic leaders Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer in sombreros. The caption read simply: “We’re built different.”

The posts were clearly aimed at mocking the massive “No Kings” demonstrations that filled streets across the U.S. on Oct. 18. Organizers estimated about 7 million people took part in roughly 2,700 rallies nationwide — one of the largest days of protest in U.S. history.

Crowds gathered to condemn Trump’s policies and to defend what they described as core American values of democracy, free speech, and equality. Many participants voiced anger over the administration’s treatment of immigrants and other vulnerable communities.

Despite the huge turnout, police across the country reported calm and orderly demonstrations. The NYPD said more than 100,000 people participated peacefully in New York City, with no protest-related arrests.

Republican leaders, however, criticized the movement ahead of time, blaming protesters for the ongoing government shutdown and calling the events “hate America” rallies.

If turnout estimates are accurate, “No Kings Day” was the largest coordinated protest effort in the U.S. since the first Earth Day in 1970 — a striking show of political resistance met with equally provocative digital jabs from the White House.
