Eric Trump is making some bold predictions about Bitcoin — and showing a lot of love for its community.
Speaking at the Bitcoin Asia conference in Hong Kong, Trump said the Trump family “loves” and “believes in” the Bitcoin movement, crediting its strong support for helping his father, Donald Trump, on the road back to the White House.
“The Bitcoin community embraced my father unlike anything I had ever seen before,” he told the crowd. “And I hope that’s paid off in spades because we love this community. We believe in this community.”
Eric didn’t stop at praise — he also made a big call on Bitcoin’s future, saying he’s confident the cryptocurrency will eventually soar to $1 million.
Bitcoin has already had a strong run this year, jumping 18% and hitting an all-time high of $124,480 in mid-August, boosted by Trump’s friendlier regulations and growing institutional interest. Since then, the price has cooled slightly, sitting around \$110,500 on Friday.
